About the Leapmotor A10
The Leapmotor A10 is a compact electric SUV (4.27 m) launched in March 2026 — one of the newest small EVs you can import from China today. It pairs a 39.8 kWh LFP battery with a 403 km CLTC range in the entry trims, while the long-range version steps up to a 53 kWh pack, 505 km CLTC and a 90 kW motor on an 800 V platform that fast-charges from 30% to 80% in about 16 minutes. The top trim adds LiDAR with city and highway pilot assist.
For East Africa the A10 hits a sweet spot: SUV ground clearance and a full five-seat cabin at city-car money, left-hand drive for Rwanda, DR Congo and Burundi, and running costs a fraction of a petrol equivalent. Is the Leapmotor A10 left-hand drive?
Yes — the A10 is produced in left-hand drive, matching Rwanda, DR Congo, Burundi and other LHD markets we serve.
Can I charge the A10 in Rwanda?
Yes. It charges overnight from a normal AC wall box and supports DC fast charging (30–80% in about 16 minutes on the 505 km version). We can supply a home charger with the car.
